A leaner month for quality wrestling, at least from what I found, but still enough quality matches to warrant one of these posts! I mean, I'd still post one even if there was only one good match, honestly. I'm all about consistency!

Skye Blue vs. Emersyn Jayne - EVE 151: Beers, Brawls And Burlesque - 07/03/226
A match that caught me off guard for how hard-hitting and violent it got, Skye Blue showed a side of herself that needs to be highlighted a lot more in AEW, but sparingly. Skye's willingness to go the extra distance in a hardcore environment is something that should not be overlooked, even if she isn't always the most clean, crisp, and skilled in the ring. She's always willing to go the extra mile and truly bleed for the industry, and for that she has earned my respect. Emersyn Jane, to her credit, pulled her weight in this match exceptionally, working with the bigger name and never once feeling like a random throwaway wrestler sent to the wolves to fight Skye in this match. It was rough, brutal, and messy in all the right areas and left me more than pleased when the final bell rang. Kudos to both women.
Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kyle Fletcher - AEW Dynamite - Beach Break 2026 - 07/08/2026
Honestly, should it come as a surprise to anyone that these guys had a fantastic match? You could tell that these two were holding back a bit, not wanting to go completely hell for leather on free TV when there was a chance we could get this rematch down the line on a PPV card, but Fletcher and Takeshita can withhold half their arsenal and still put on an exceptional match. Hard hitting and gritty from the word go, Takeshita defended his International Championship with his life, doing everything he could to fend off the vicious Fletcher, wanting to prove that he is the Ace, or the Alpha, if you will, of the Don Callis Family, with Takeshita being recently booted from the group. A beautiful final few moments led to Fletcher winning the title, with Takeshita still looking like a star even after taking the loss in the match.
Mark Davis vs. Mike Bailey - AEW Collision - 07/11/2026
On the run of a lifetime, Mark Davis had a brutal affair with Mike Bailey, an exceptional wrestler in his own right that would be able to have a passable match with just about anybody on roster. Contrasting styles well, the living mountain in Davis had to work overtime to keep up with the speedy and precise Bailey, who was able to put the National Champion on the backfoot on more than one occasion. A piledriver on the announcers table outside proved to be the ultimate equalizer, granting Davis the kind of advantage he needed to put Bailey away, with the entire match feeling pretty evenly contested up until that vicious blow. Brilliant work from both men.
