Weekly Watchlist 087 - Halftime Heat in an Empty Arena Match!

What's the story, advocates of artificial altercations?!

Felt like having some fun a mere week after the Super Bowl with a special edition of the Weekly Watchlist! It's not so much a match as it is just 20 minutes of fun, but if you'll indulge me this week, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. We'll be back to our regularly scheduled nonsense next week.

Weekly Watchlist 061 - August 10 2025

Welcome, welcome! Fellow fanatics for feigned fury, what's new?

This was a rough week for yours truly, a lot of stuff happening all at once, a complete lack of motivation, and deadlines getting nearer and nearer had me in a bit of a tailspin for a few days. But I knew I needed to stay consistent, I had to stay the course. If there's one thing I've wanted to stay consistent with, it's writing this blog. And I will. I won't let this fall apart on me.

So, read on and find out what match made it into the Wrestling Vault this week!

Weekly Watchlist 056 - July 6 2025

What's the story, obsessives of over-the-top offense?

Well, I did it! I managed to get back to my two match reviews this week! Sure, the second "main event" match is more of an angle, but it's more than worthy of the spot. My first match is full of some pretty controversial opinions, but I don't want to spoil too much, you've gotta read on to find out what I mean!

Hopefully, things have straightened themselves out here at Wrestling Vault HQ. A day spent in the hospital (all good, no need to worry) and a weekend that was as "seat of your pants" as you can get had me questioning whether I could get it done, but I knuckled down and went to work.

So what's keeping you, dear reader? Read on and see what's on offer this week!

Weekly Watchlist 016 - September 29 2024

 Welcome back wrestling fans!

The weeks keep on ticking away and the wrestling does too, more and more to watch each week. But, your intrepid reviewer will trudge through the fields and brave the trenches, unafraid to do what must be done to keep these reviews coming!

Another DPW show down this week, still a few months out from watching the 2 year anniversary show in December and I'm starting to feel excited. I see the boys promoting current shows with exciting matchups, new champions and crazy cards (still can't believe they got Roddy for Limit Break and now FTR is coming through for Super Battle?! WHAT?!) and I really want to jump ahead and watch current shows but I must abide. I've gotta stay the course and work my way up to the current product. I'm too far to give it all up now.

Weekly Watchlist 015 - September 22 2024

Wrestling fans! Boy, does it feel good to be back!

What a week I had, an absolutely incredible time away. What I'd give to go back, see the fog roll in over the lake in the wee hours of the morning. God, that was so nice. And, for the first time since starting this blog and maybe even for the first time this year, I went a full week without watching any wrestling. No matches, barely saw any clips, couldn't tell you a promo I listened to, it was great. I mean I obviously listened to the DEADLOCK pod and The Lapsed Fan when I had some time to myself, I can't give up the essentials. Now I'm back in town and trying to do some catch up on stuff I missed and get back into the swing of reviewing matches again.
